14 persons have been killed in two separate fresh attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Jos South and Bassa Local Government Areas of Plateau State. According to reports, the attacks took place last night, Sunday September 2nd. This fresh attacks comes barely a week after unknown gunmen stormed a village in Barkin Ladi local government area killing a pastor, his wife and their three children. According to Punch, twelve persons were killed by the suspected herdsmen in Rati community. The assailants stormed the community riding in motorbikes and shoot sporadically. During the second incident, the assailants were said to have laid an ambush on their victims in Adu village in Kwall District, Bassa LGA around 11pm and shot at their targets. While one was killed on the spot, the second victim was said to have died on Monday morning in the hospital.
